Frontend Engineer

Own the design and the build of two products end to end: the website people judge us by, and the dashboard merchants run their day on.

The role

You would own the complete design and development of two products for the AI workforce that runs commerce: the customer-facing website and the analytics dashboard. High-fidelity design through to production code, and then the long tail of maintaining and sharpening both.

This is deliberately one role rather than two. A designer who hands off and an engineer who implements will always lose detail in the gap between them, and detail is the entire difference at this level of finish.

What you would own: the website

A design-led site that stands next to the best AI platforms rather than behind them. Marketing and product experience together, with real motion, working demos, and storytelling that unfolds as you scroll.

  • Design and build the marketing site, motion and interaction included
  • Immersive animation, parallax and micro-interaction that survive a second visit
  • Live AI and voice demos with streaming responses and audio playback
  • Performance, accessibility and responsiveness held to the pixel

What you would own: the analytics dashboard

A production-grade dashboard giving merchants real-time visibility across every channel their customers reach them on.

  • Design and build the customer portal and the analytics surface
  • Real-time, data-heavy visualisation across omnichannel metrics
  • Compliance tracking, reporting and export
  • Accessible, responsive, fast UI that still behaves on large datasets

Design

  • High-fidelity UI and UX in Figma, including component libraries and design systems
  • Enterprise typography, colour, spacing and visual hierarchy
  • Interaction and motion design principles
  • Accessibility-first design aligned to WCAG
  • Dashboard UX patterns and information architecture for analytics products

What we are looking for

  • Three or more years of professional frontend work in React and TypeScript
  • Design systems and premium sites you can point at
  • Advanced Next.js and Tailwind
  • A background in analytics dashboards or other data-heavy interfaces
  • Accessibility, performance and responsive design held as defaults rather than passes
  • Core Web Vitals you have actually moved, not read about
